I've heard nothing but good things from a Jeep Liberty Forum I'm on. They all, love them for offroading. Throwing some 32's on it.

got one for the wife a few months back...we love it...its got the same 5speed auto as the hemi...bullit poof....32mpgs highway! 22 average...I used to have a 3.7 company liberty and never got better then 16 highway....
will be putting a blizzard 720lt on the libbi so she can keep the drive clear while I am out plowing...
Thinking about getting myself the grand cherokee blue tec that is coming out next year....

picked it up tonight and love it so far...actually i like it more then my moms '05 Grand Cherokee with the HEMI...not as much acceleration, but it handles better, i like the stiffer suspension...its an '06 bought "used"(only 5,000 miles on her) the previous owner put a pair of Bridgestone Dueler AT Revos on it, so the tires are great...still gonna have to use the HEMI to pull the boat though...oh, and talked to the Jeep dealer...Liberty is no longer available with the Diesel for 2007, they're now being put in the Grand Cherokees

they can't get the 2.8 to pass 07 emmissions...but you will see the bluetec diesel in the GC, the benz ML, GL, and E! Things are getting better...maybe they will find a new engine that will fit in the liberty....
at least I got mine....
pulled up behind a lady at the diesel pump today and saw her putting diesel in her liberty and i didnt know it was diesel and i got scared and mentioned it to her and she told me it was diesel
