What YM (year model) is your truck?

I'm gonna guess '94 Z71. Does the truck sag that much or is it on a hill?

Looks heavy there is a lot of steel in the trailer and the z and wb also.

Thanks guys. I built the trailer before I got the Super Z and Quick but they were the mowers I planned on getting so I kinda built it around those mower specs.

The Chevy is a '92 and it is sitting on an incline. When I hitch the trailer it drops maybe 2" at most, not to bad. One thing though is it pulls much better with the Z backed on (like in the pic) than with the weight of the mower rear at the back of the trailer - for sure.

If anyone wants to add some of their pic to the thread I'm sure we'd all like to see'em.

I have a Carry-On trailer with a side gate too. I love it. Also I see you have a Better Outdoor products 36" WB. Do you like it? How much did you pay for it?

RonB, how do you like the Husqvarna backpak blower? I'm thinking about purchasing the new 356BTX come fall. Also what model is yours?

opps - forgot about this one. Enforcer - I have no real complaint with the 36. The front spindle sticks some when I change deck height but I don't change it often. Think I paid around $3100. I ordered it with the catcher, gators, repair kit deal.

LawnBarber - I like the Husky blower too. Found it at Lowes, it was returned for repair and paid $150, half price. It's the 145 I think. I have had to fix the kill switch though. The wire has caught and broke twice. Added 4" to the wire the last time - simple fix.

It's good that you have everything locked up like that.. Have you ever had anything stolen?

Everything had locks except the gas cans - until one of the full 5 gal. cans was ripped while parked on a busy street while cutting in back.

hows that quick 36
I purchased a Quick 36 Super Duty about a month ago. It is great for its intended purpose. It cuts niicely, plenty of power, and pulls the sulky fine. It is terrible to manuver on side inclines.

These kinds of trailers get ALOT of their strenght by the upper rail on them. Think of the sides as a truss like the truss that holds the roof up at your local home depot. Cutting out the side and putting in a side ramp weakens the trailer considerably.

I used to put ALL my stuff on my trailer, now I leave it all home except for what I know I will need that day. Knock on wood I have only had stuff stolen twice, once years ago someone took a Echo PB-400E blower out of the back of my truck - had 2 of them and all kinds of weedwackers and hedge trimmers etc... they just took one blower! - and last summer some punk took one of my gas jugs. I never lock my stuff up and still use the bed of my truck for the blower and other small stuff.
