i want an awesome looking lawn!!!!need some HELP!!!

what fert should i put down now.......... minnesota????????????

my lawn is in fairly good shape. i have some bare spots that died due to heat. next to the driveway

my plan is to roundup(some creeping charlie)then seed and put down some lime possibly.


what should i apply to the the turf for fert? this time of year. it's been about 80-83 lately


i also have some crabgrass that i think i'm going to try and spray with dimension??? or i have some fertilizer that has 2% dimension in it could i try sprinkle this over it?

first things first , get a soil sample .

Get a soil sample. You could start with a postemergent herbicide.:weightlifter:

Fert-let it go and fert and reseed yard this fall.

I agree with Harley. Let the fert go for now. In about a month, aerate the heck out of the lawn then overseed and starter fert.

Aerating and reseeding a lawn is a great idea. Then fert in October.
