I need a new blower for my hardscape crew. I had an old green machine back pack blower that took a dump.

I am not sure if i should go with a hand held or a back pack. I am basically looking for something to blow the dust off the patios after i make cuts, and blow the access sand off the patio after i sweep it. Thats all. I think it be 10x easier to use a hand held than a back pack.

What do you think?

For your situation I think a handheld blower would be perfect. I'm guessing light duty use? I have an Echo commercial handheld blower best handheld blower I've used yet.

We use the Sthils, which are handheld.
They work perfect for us. They just the right
amount of force.

Peace,

We have 3 hardscape crews running at once and we went with Echo handheld blowers. Look at it like this a hardscape crew really only uses the blower for 1) Clean-up at the end of the day 2) We uses dry cut saws and use the handblower with the saw to keep the dust off the surface you are cutting and 3) to "gently" blow off the polymeric sand before wetting it.
