hey lawnbarber, nice lookin saw. how much use is it going to get. when i worked in the tree business. the only saws we could get to last where the stihl 200t. those saws ripped, tons of power. but we used them every day all day. let me know what you think of that saw id like to know. ive been curious about those. i imagine it would be great for small jobs here and there. what did you pay? thanks for your time.

TheSargent, for right now I won't be useing it a hole lot. Theirs just times where I wish I had a chain saw for some cleanup jobs etc. The saw cost me $299.00. So far I think its a great little saw plenty of power. This weekend will be the real test, I've got about 15 cypress trees that are about 20' tall. I want to take about 4' off of them so I'll let you know how it does.

right on. cant beat the price, thats about half what a ms200t costs. thanks for the info. what length bar does it have, how much does it weigh?

I think you will come to love that saw. Ive run them for the last 10 years and they are evey bit as good as any other climbing saw. One word of coution, don't cut with one hand as it is very easy to do with a top handle saw. Be safe!

Its a nice saw but I prefer the Husqvarna 338xpt. JMO

TheSargent, the length of the chain and bar is 16". It is a very light saw at only 8.1 pounds.

I have the 14'' bar model. Perfect one handed saw for pruning.

I finally used the thing today for about 45-minutes. The little thing has plenty of power to cut through all sorts of woods. so far after this saw I would buy another.

Lol...Your avatar is Stihl, the blade cover is Husky...And you bought an Echo..

I have a pole saw that I love, but next year wouldn't mind investing in a nice chain saw.

The Husky covers where all my dealer had. ( dosen't matter, all covers are the same ) The only string trimmer I'll ever use is a Stihl.
