when you see the cobweb mycelium on a lawn is it possible to collect it, spray it with water, or anything to get rid of it? i know you do not want to step on it or spread it onto other parts of the lawn, but is there a way to eliminate it?

no, use it as an indicator of what kind of disease you have. not every disease can be moved by stepping on the mycelium only a few.

pythium is one right? which others can be spread that way? so there is no benefit of spraying the mycelium in the morning or removing it from the lawn with a rag?
