6 HP Kawi - starting problems

A 6 HP Kawi on a toro proline.

this machine will start once, but will not start again until it has sat for an hour. The first start is easy and normal. If you shut it down to go through a gate, it will NOT start until an hour or so later....maybe the next day.

When it won't start check for spark at the spark plug, Could be the coil heating up and breaking down.

Thanks Restrorob, but the engine does not even have to be warm to not start back up.

I changed the oil in in from cold, cranked it when finished for about 5 seconds, then it would not crank again until this morning. When it does crank, it starts very easily.

I was thinking it may be a fuel problem??? Is there any pressure involved in sending fuel? The fuel filter is clean, and the tank gets air.

You still should check for spark as suggested and check that the choke butterfly is closing fully.
