Thanks!

I'll have to clean up the equipment one day and get some pics of it all together....

You should have seen it when I got it a few months ago! The previous owner doesn't even recognize it now haha!! It looks alot different, everyone that I meet asks where I got the truck and I tell them and they don't beleive me, the previous owner owns a auto repair shop in town alot of people know him and knew the truck... All of the "modifications/upgrades/accessories" was stuff I've done to it..... it was plain jane bone stock when I got 'er... he did have a fuel plate in it but thats it no other mods at all.... The next things I do to it are ladder bars, 4,000 rpm governor spring kit, and coil spacers to level it 2".
http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a343/BushHogBoy/Other%20Pics/pic18_avatar_rcc.jpg

Real bad pic, can't hardly see well, but it had chevy 4x4 decals on the back of the bedsides, had some really gay light blue and pink stripes with goofy designs in 'em, I took all that stuff off the second day I had the truck (first day I had it we had to mow all day lol)

Here she is a little over a month ago, full pulling at our county fair (I pull with it a little here and there, dirt drags and a couple mud bogs too)... with the old 33x14.50 Super Swamper SSR's.. full pull is 300', I went 314' and was still moving with power and traction when they were flaggin me to stop, I was running out of track!

Nice truck, looks slick with the new MT/s and the tint. Dont imagine you'll ever have to second guess towing just about anything. I would have gone blackwalls out on the mt/s, but thats just me. Sharp looking truck

Thanks ya'll..... tires were on the rims mounted that way when I got 'em so I had no choice...

I bought a set of Mickey Thompson Classic II's Alloys today, 17x9's, they're going on tomorrow so check back in for pics of that!!!

Might get 2" coil spacers/leveling kit to clear them a little better but that will be a few days away if I do need them (would have to be ordered)....

And yes, she's a big time tow slut... its like she's addicted, the bigger the load, the better... I pulled out my old mud truck today, these tires do great in mud, I'm thinking and hoping they do awesome in the snow...

Be careful with the MT/s. I got mine (only 31's tho) and got into alot of trouble because of how good they did in the mud until I hit an unexpected rut and almost sank my truck. The sprinkler has been running on the front of my truck for 3 hours today and dirty muddy sandy water is still running out of my radiator and its going to be a long night taking it apart so it will stop overheating. I havent had mine on for the winter yet but I imagine they will do pretty good in the snow. How many miles you got on that truck?

Sweet truck and now you got 4x4 diesel. Bet you wish you still had the big trailer to pull.

Go with the AFE air intake, and I hear good things about the diesel Doctor chips, as well as the edge. Both my friends got em on their cummins.

You should get the factory tow mirrors that come on the new trucks, it would look good.

Lets see some smoke?

Nice truck, I'm very partial to the Cummins Diesel. IMO, the best diesel available, with the Ford's old 7.3 a close second. Though I wish it was available in the F-250/350.

I try not to mud it much or often... diesels are pretty heavy, a big disadvantage in mud... if a hole has a solid bottom i'm fine cuz it sinks down and glues to the bottom... if a soft or no bottom i'm screwed!!!

Still in biz.

Yes wish I had big trailer, extra mowers & clientele that I did 2 years ago. Whenever I tow other trucks on trailers behind it, this bad boy just loves it!!! TOW SLUT!!! LOL

Can't chip a 12V... P7100 mechanical pump. I love the 12V and 7100 pump!!!

And on the tow mirrors, the only tow mirrors in this year was the big 3 arm metal ones... not attractive.. If and when I replace the mirrors I'd go with the 98+ body style mirrors, or even 03+ mirrors! Don't have smoke pics at this time, i'll work on that ;)

Not to get into a big brand discussion but I'd take a Duramax over a PowerJoke, but I do prefer Ford over Chevy... good thing I love the Dodge/Cummins combo!!!! LOL.....

I think south florida was talking about the newer style fold out towing mirrors. The 99-02 mirrors still fit the '94-'98 trucks. I bought mine off ebay, and put them on both of my work trucks... they just bolt right on.

When are the Stacks and a banks six gun tuner going to be installed? That'd be the next step!

Nice truck man.
I imagine you already know this but that k&n is supposed to let too much dust through. BHAF should do the trick.

Good idea swapping to the hx35. I see 30+ pounds of boost with the elbow on my 24 valver, and it jumps right up even at low rpm.

Injectors coming soon right?

K&N flows better than bhaf. I think k&ns work just as well as anything else as far as filtering dirt.

HX35 comes stock on that truck.

Good luck with it and with your business.

Ok, Ok, mechanical injection? Time for what lets say a #6 plate to be added to the P1700.....

Lets see a blacked out street already....Grab 3rd at about 30 and mash the go pedal...that should do the trick haha.

HX35 comes stock on that truck.
K&n flows twice as much air (over 1000 cfm) through the same size filter as stock. It lets smaller particulates through.

The BHAF filters as well as stock but has greater surface area for more clean air, plus it is cost effective and flows enough for most of us.
AFE is approved by cummins but their kits are pricey.

I guess in a cool wet climate it would not matter.

thanks for the heads up on the turbo.

Yep, I want the newer tow mirrors.

Truck looks totally different now and is still undergoing change...

HX35 is stock. I make 40 lbs with it. Still has stock injectors 215's. No 6 gun tuner on it, 12V P7100 mechanical pump!!! oh yea!!!! It does have a fuel plate but i'm not sure which one.

Brenden Smith, What bowtie? eh????

Well the reason you haven't seen pics of the new rims, coil spacers and step bars is because i've been busy, got a new job at a shop that rebuilds diesel engines for military vehicles (actually first day is tomorrow) and attended and participated in the Scheidt Diesel Extravaganza at Terre Haute, IN. It was a blast as usual and extremely miserable hot and muggy weather as usual.

But the smoke rolled and turbos sang!!!
Friday I added 4,000 RPM governor springs and turned the fuel up more, made a big difference as expected!!

I added new tail lights (kind of a Euro style but without the chrome background, they're just a black background) and am adding a rollpan on the back (painting it right now) so I'm waiting for it to dry so i can put that on. I did also add the two DVD screens on the visors as well.

At the Terre Haute Action Track at the Diesel Extravaganza my truck ran a 10.5 second 1/8 mile.

The truck is coming a long way. I will wait to get the roll pan on and get the truck cleaned up to post new pics. thanks for your patience.

Looks pretty decent to me. I got it mounted tonight too dark to really tell but i like roll pans so i think it'll be alright....

cool but won't the trailer hitch stick out now that the bumper is gone, or can you just slide it further back on the frame rails?

Eric

I was just over on plowsite looking at some of my first posts from back in 02 and read some of your old threads with the scag plow machine. Things have come a long way for most of us since the "old days".
Your business history is basically laid out on lawnsite. Congratulations on all the achievements.

For those of you in your mid teens on this site I'd recommend searching for Frankenscag's threads from a couple years ago(go to user profile) for ideas/inspiration, you can do alot without a drivers license.
