This was just a trim, edge and mulch job. My camera batteries ran down so I only have front pics.

how did you put such a nice edge around that tree with all the roots that i assume were there? looks great!

This was a rush install I did two weeks ago. Customer cut back the leylands and decided it was too plain. There are 3 Dorothy Hayden azaleas in the back corner, 2 endless summer originals and 2 blushing bride hydrangeas, veronica lake and blue cadet hostas, purple coral bells and the customers lilies in the front.

Here's a better shot. I think we're going to remove a few of the leylands that are growing crooked and too close together.

Thanks guys, there were a lot of shallow roots around the tree. I run the bed edger on the slowest rpm that it will still cut at. You can feel it change pitch when you get near a root and lift up and over so the root is not damaged.

It's an old Brown bed edger. The edger itself is far from pretty but it does good work.
