I am in the final design phase of my homemade discharge control for all my walkbehinds.
All my machines have a bracket to accept a wright mfg metal bagger.
To make the dischage chute I was going to recycle the OEM deflector.
To clear the bagger bracket I am going to mount the defector brackets to a bit of 1 1/2" square steel (scrap metal from a Jcro bar).
This way the deflector will clear the bagger bracket, be out of the way when up to mount the bagger, and the deflector will be on more of a downward angle to keep clipping and objects from being thrown very far.
The springs will be removed from the deflector mount so the defector can be controled by pushing a knob on the dashboard via a universal manual choke cable from an auto parts store.
