Oil Leak

I have a 17hp Kawasaki (FH500V) on a Gravely 144Z, in the last couple of days i have seen some oil on top of the starter and left side of the engine.
It looks like it may be coming out from the fly wheel.
I am using amsoil. It has 700 hours.( The engine, not the oil.)

Any ideas?

only one place if you see it coming from under the flywheel - crank seal. you'll know for sure when you pull the flywheel

You also have the crankcase breather on top under the flywheel, The only way to find out which is leaking is as khouse said. But if I went that far I would replace both the seal and breather plate gasket and KNOW it will not leak any longer.
