You can get up to 25K on any of the citi cards without financials providing your credit is good enough. I just got sears commercial as well, although its not a revolving account.

Are you talking personal credit to get the 25k from citi? or if its your business credit, how good are we talking? Do you mean a business credit score of 80? Do you need something else?
I have a staples and office depot... also got a reliable account and a wearguard set up... What should I do next? Of course I need to make sure they are reporting first, but then what?
Thanks to all... this is some very useful info........

i have score of 80 and 14 reporting, and im getting lines up to 10K from citi now, i think you need a good file and some age to get these. I know some have though. Also citi will at least double your limit every 6 months, more if you ask for it.

Too bad for me, DnB doesnt report anything on my business. I have about 10 -12 TL but no score reports when I check m status except two letters. Oh well. I'll try Citi later. Grassmanak, Citi doesnt ask for any PG on business accounts? Which one did you apply for. Thanks.

if you have 10-12 TL's you should have a file, have you signed up for eupdate and all of that. As far as CITI we are talking about citi backed store cards, not the mastercards and visa's. Although some have obtained CITI visa and mastercards without a PP. It is kind of a crap shoot on those. You have to put your SSN, they may or may not pull.

how do you get rid of the ds status on your credit report from dnb w/o paying them money? i spoke to the devil, i mean dnb and they told me the only way to get a real rating is to pay them $300.00. i dont want to do that. i have two cards from staples and office depot which should be reporting but all that is there is "Rating: DS". can someone help please?

Ya! Screw DNB. I went through that junk with them man. They are nasty people. But don't worry about them. Most major companies, specifically Staples and Office Depot who both use Citi Card for their card services, use Experian Business Credit too. Also, my company also offers painting services so I opened an account with Sherwin Williams under my incorporation with no personal guarantee. Sherwin Williams will give a new company with NO credit history a $1000 limit. They will also report. Don't worry about DNB. They are the reason Experian Business Exists. They are such pricks that no businesses want to deal with them and they provided an outlet for companies like ours. I haven't paid them a dime yet they still request reports from my creditors each month. check this link out and see if your company is listed:

i couldn't wait. i got the monthly plan with experian. it is only like 13 bucks a month and i only have a three month commitment. i can handle that and it is fair. not $300.00 like crap faces, dnb. but will it clear up the DS status? i have already contacted them requesting it be removed and i plan to use this service to its fullest potential. i bet i'll get my moneys worth.

you cant get 6-8 good lines without waiting years, or putting a PG on the account. the highest trade i have is dell, which anyone can get, next is northern tool at 10K, but problem is, now they are switching all reporting to usage on your cards and not your limits, so unless we start racking up the debt, or spending lots every month, we cant have big trade lines.

hello!
the creditbuilder d&b hawks (including the "lite" and "premium" versions) are totally a scam and not needed. you can get a d&b number free (and it will be "active" even though the phone reps claim that it isn't so.)
you then can start by getting some Cl's from nebs, rapidforms, and a few others so that you will get a paydex, once you have 5+ cls reporting.

it has to do with the date of incorporation- you can take a shelf corp that has been around for years, apply for an EIN and the same day apply for business credit using the EIN.
D&B does not and cannot use IRS records, and they have no way to know such information.

but the idea of having a business is for it to be a separate entity. What if something DOES happen. Lets say you kill someone while driving and you get sued. If you aren't separate, a good lawyer will get everything you own, personal AND business.
On the other hand, if you set up your company right, and your business ALONE is responsible for your BUSINESS stuff, if the unthinkable happens, you lose your business stuff, and not everything you as a person had to "put up" to get stuff for the business.
and, yeah, I know....good insurance may protect me, but thats not the point. Consider it the same as if you co-signed a loan for a friend and he quit paying. Then YOU have to pay or YOU get bad credit too. Its the same with a business. Why co-sign for it when you never really know whats going to happen. If you "co-sign" and you as an individual can't afford to continue payment on your business stuff, you not only lose your stuff, you screw up your personal credit in the process.

How about getting all that stuff in your sig financed by the bank- with no personal guarantee?
and how about that new tree-blender that you are dreaming about to expand your business by being able to shave up tree stumps? and that huge mulcher? and...
Plus, lines of credit with suppliers, home improvement retailers, and all the b2b vendors you deal with on a daily basis would come in handy...

We have talked to an attorney and 2 cpas but they each have good and bad points and think one is better than the other for this or that but it sounds like a wash to me I guess. We are just marking time I guess to pick one. How long after we file our company do we call Office Depot? Hey thanks for everyones valuable info on this matter. With LLC's, you still have employment tax issues (15%) and other taxes With an s-corp, you must draw a "reasonable" salary on which you pay taxes and SS, medicare, etc, then you can take owners draws. At the end of the year, the net income from the business flows through to the tax returns of the owners, based on percentage of ownership.
so, Yes, s-corp has significant tax advantages over LLC's
racer56
01-10-2008, 12:12 AM
This last cpa told me that we can go the LLC route and then elect to be taxed as a S Corp. I guess this is the best of both worlds. Also the way I understand it is you can start as a LLC and go to a S Corp but I guess not the other way around. I forgot to confirm this with him though. Office stuff like this is the thing that is hard for me, not the work itself.

verifying the duns number?
yes I thought you had to verify the duns number on ccr . gov
Ive known about this whole procedure for sometime now, but finally decided to try it...
I found out when I called dnb earlier this week that I have had a duns number since 2004 when I started the company, i've also had an ein since then too (which I knew, since I got that).
Maybe this will speed the process up for me when getting credit. I applied for the staples and OD Tuesday, and faxed the verifying info to them yesterday, so hopefully I should hear something from them by Monday. Then I was planning on doing the shell card, sunoco card, and a few net 30's to get my 5 credits reporting so I can get a paydex score. Hopefully by the end of the year I can get all the business stuff off my personal credit and into the business credit (which is pretty substantial).
Anyway, if you don't have to verify the number on ccr . gov let me know. Thanks!

What gas cards can I get... Or do I need to wait? I have staples 750.00, Office depot 500.00, And net 30's with uline, reliable... I will also try the two paydex just mentioned. I really need to get this going... I two have lots of credit on my personal file and must get these transfered to the business side ASAP. Besides the gas card, is there a larger amount I could get anyway like a line of credit or a larger credit card to transfer balances? I was wondering how long it would take to make this happen.

buy from nebs and from rapidshare (sister company that reports separately). this will give you 2 diff trade lines.
I was successful with Nebs, but I am not sure rapidshare is the right company?
Is it a file storage company? I couldn't see where to apply for a net 30. It looks like its only paypal.
Any info on Gas cards? that's something I could really use. Its hard to find things to buy from these places.
How often do you recommend buying from each net 30?

You can get Exxon. They said they needed more info when I applied but about 2 weeks later I had 3 cards with a 750.00 limit. Here are some others I received:
Office Depot-1500.00
Staples-1000.00
Home Depot-2100.00
Lowes-1000.00
Wal-mart-1500.00
Sams-1500.00
Ford motor-new 2008 Ford F350 crew cab diesel dually-2.9% interest
Some of them ask for a personal guarantee-don't give it to them. They may tell you they need more info but they will approve you without it. Don't have perfect personal credit and needed some business credit. Now I have it! Good luck to you guys.

dont worry about that, believe it or not it will help you, i applied for a lot of stuff way to early, but i felt it helped me, when i reapplied 90 days later i was always approved. even with a marginal credit file. i also have northern tool for 10k which i shouldnt have because im a sole prop, and they require 2 years of incroperation.i applied to early and was denied, then reapplied and was somehow approved.

Inmy email that came back, a guy by the name of Randall Hall needed me to call him back to verify some info. I called back, he turns arround and gives me another number to call. I call that number, and it tells me to fill out the form. I already did that. I might just wait till next year to re-apply.

I have applied 3 times in the last 2 years and EACH time they wanted a PG. They say I haven't been in business long enough.
Background:
Est. 2000 part time
2002 Full time
2005 incorporated
2006/2007 each over 6 figure gross income.
BUT, because I don't have any LARGE credit amounts established THAT REPORT, I am SOL.
I have very good credit with the business, but very little of it reports. The only ones that report now are the ones serviced by Citi (staples, OD, shell fleet)
I have several serviced by GEMB, and they don't report (if they did, thats 12 grand credit limit). Carmax (yes, business loan....22,000)
Everyone seems to think ford is the easiest...BLAH.
p.s. You can get the application for Ford Commercial Credit online. go to ford.com and search from there.
You CAN'T apply online. It has to be submitted through a dealer. I read somewhere you could fax it, but they just send it to a dealer.

What do you think my chances are, my Paydex score is 90 (DNB) w/9 TL's reporting all in good standing and high CL's w/low bal.. My total CL's are 30K and only about 3% util. If they do approve you do have to buy a vehicle right away, or do the give you a line of credit?

Got the news today.....a CSR called me to verify company name and address, put me on hold for a minute and came back and said i was approved. I ask what the CL is and she says $25K!!!!!!!.
Keep in mind fellas this is a Master Card, not a store card. My first official major unsecured corporate card. I have to give props to WILLRETIRE@40 for starting this topic, I have been reading/following all the posts and have been following some of the advice givin' on here. Without this thread I would have never know about all the financial resources we have with out giving a PG.
One other thing I found out when applying for any Citi backed company card, when you apply online and they give you a ref# and Code#, Code 26= APPROVED/NEED TO VERIFY and Code #25 = DENIED
One last thing......for all you guys going app crazy (including me) and getting approved. BE SMART WITH THIS. Just because you get the card doesn't mean you can afford all the things you could buy on it. Look at having a card as a last resort resource to make purchases. Ask your self this, "If I didn't have this card would I be able to buy this?" Build your company credit, for the future of your business, and use your cards wisely. Don't get caught in the trap and dig a hole of debt.
Good luck fellas'

First off get a duns number but dont buy the builder crap. To get a dunns number instantly tell them you need it for government contract and they shouldnt try to sell you anything. It is best to be inc. to get good credit offers but can be sole for limited credit. Also have to have EIN #. Then you have to build credit which can be done on average in about 3 months. Then apply for a staples business account with out using your personal credit. You should be able to get $750 limit. If you get denial online call the 1800 #. I will post more info later. Let me know if interested cuz if not wont waste the time. Have to do this just right to get best credit fast (3-6 months).
I am interested and want more info.

Milsap how many card do you have and how long did you wait before you applied to HD?
I opened a HD Comm'l revolving account last summer (May/June) and got instant approval for 5K, after 3mo with small charges and paying them in full before the due dates, they gave me a CLI of $1500 w/o me requesting. My first card was Staples, then Office Depot, then HD.
So far I have:
1-Staples 2K
2-OD 2K
3-HD revolving 5K CLI after 3mo $6500
4-Lowe's $1500
5-Northern Tool $10K
6-Office Max $6500
7-Shell Fleet 7K
8-Unsecured HD Master Card $25K
That's $60,500 of unsecured credit with no PG! Holy Sh!T! I'm gonna have to bury these in a hole so I don't get crazy with all this. It could get dangerous fast!
All kidding aside....just remember, even though you get approved for all these cards DO NOT fall in the credit card trap! Use this to build a good D&B portfolio. Build your business credit to put you in a good position to apply for the good stuff like opening lines of credit, small biz loans, comm'l auto loans/leases, ect. These store cards are pettily and don't mean jack. They don't give you access to real working capital (cash), they only allow you convenience to make purchases at their stores with flexible terms.
I started out small gaining more and more store cards. Waited till they reported to D&B, watched my Paydex move from 40 to 90, then made my move to apply for the Home Depot Master Card. I waited till I had at least 5 TL's reporting and I was lucky enough to have a Paydex of 90 before I even thought twice about applying for it.
Some of my keys to success so far:
1-Reading this entire thread(thanx WILLRETIRE@40)
2-Be patient
3-Slow smart moves
4-Make small, small purchases and PIF before the due dates
5-Watch your D&B file and Paydex.
Be smart about this and think it out before you make your next move. Ask your self where you want to be long term, and not what your gonna buy with your credit today.
My next move, IF I need it will be a small biz LOC (line of credit) or a SOHO loan from these guys. http://www.innovativebank.com/. Requires NO PG, but you have to have a solid D&B file and show financials. It's always good to know your financial options.
Build your business credit up and establish a solid financial portfolio for your business. Work hard, be smart, and you'll be successful.

Is a Experian score of 92 a good number?
I have a dispute of $50 radio/telecommunications on my DNB report. They will not give me the name of the creditor. I called Verizon and Sprint and they said my payment history is excellent. Score is 78... is this a bad score? It will go up once that 33 days past due is deleted. All other tradelines are great.
Also... I have 5 business cards all without PG and only 3 are showing. Again, DNB will not tell me which ones are reporting. Then they tried to push that credit builder program. They wanted $599 then 20% off. I kept telling them no. They definitely hire pushy sales people. They do not take no for an answer. I would never spend that kind of money.
grass-scapes
01-26-2008, 02:42 PM
I had the same issue with telecommunications. Maybe its the phone company. I disputed that charge, but found out they automatically dispute several items at once and they all come off of your report which shows your tradelines as being less. I had disputed a bill with Bellsouth and they reported it. It was over 2 grand. I paid it, but dnb reports it as 35 days late and it dropped my score from 80 to 62. It took 2 months for it to come back, so I am going to dispute it again.
the reason for the big drop is that my other tradelines are only reporting 2 grand or less each, so that phone bil lis a significant chunk. I have lots of other credit without PG, but none of them report. If I paid D&B that 599, they will report them, but ONLY if I pay and THEY verify the info.
Nope.

ABout a week to get it removed, but its only temporary. what you get when you pay money to D &B is YOU tell THEM who you have credit with, up to a certain number. Then, they call that creditor and get verification of the debt, and payment history, then, they put that on your dnb report. It never updates because the company never actually reported it. So, lets say you had a truck loan with a company that doesn't report to DNB. You would call DNB with all the info you could provide, they would call this creditor, verify info and report the tradeline amount and your payment history.
Now, don't think you can do this yourself...they will not accept it...I tried. You HAVE to pay them money to get it done and they have to be the ones to call. They will not even accept a creditor calling them unless they report everyones unless YOU pay.

When filling out credit apps do they compare what I put on my duns app to see if its the same as I put on my credit app. I don't want to raise any red flags when it comes to my application. I am just concerned because why would staples want to give credit to a (me) a new company just starting out.
Question is? Is there any way I can update the info on my duns app?

three more qusetions?
1. TIN and EIN is the same. Correct?
2. I don't ever use my duns # if propmted to use my TIN or EIN. Correct?
3. When applying to staples is net 30 better than the revolving? Correct me if I'm wrong but I want to get some net 30s reporting as soon as possible before getting a revolving credit line which in turn will lead to bigger and better credit lines. Am I right?
Thanks for the input.

Slow down now. I use a revolving w/Staples. With net 30 you'll have to PIF every time you get the statement. It's up to you what type of account you want, either way, First establish some TL's so they start to report. Your going to need some TL and perfect payment history reporting to D&B before anyone is going to consider a LOC or a Major Co-Branded CC to your biz.

it is good you told d&b the truth. you know why? because they verify with the secretary of state's website if the information you told them is correct.
write the date the biz started on your app for business credit. if the underwriter asks you, you can explain that thats when your business was started, and that you converted to an LLC in '07.
also realize that '07 could be 01/07 or 12/07. which means that since we are in '08, its not like you opened last month...

Yes and No...Your Paydex comes form D&B. No need to join D&B.
Ex reports a "Credit Ranking Score". You need to buy your report from EX to see your Credit Ranking Score.
known as "intelliscore" from experian.
if you ask for a catalog from companies such as Oriental Trading, this will help you get into experians database.

D&B will not tell you who is reporting. this is even if you do pay the $600 ahem, fee.
78 is a great score... you would probably be 80 or even 85+! without the late showing...
this is because your paydex is based on the number of days it takes you to pay your bills. so if you pay your bills early, you get a better score then if you pay on time.
this is an important oiece that many people don't seem to realize! in personal credit (fico), paying on time is what matters. in business credit, paying EARLY is better then paying on time.

We are starting over as a llc in the morning. How long do we need to waituntil getting the Staple and Office Depot accounts set up? I didn't know if it was next day or next week or longer even. Do we want revolving account or net 30? Just want to build business credit itself all we really want it a 66 gas crad only. The rest would just be to get to that point.
staples is easier then office depot. if you are 411 listed as a business and incorporated, staples should start you with $750 right away.
did you order anything from NEBS? that should always be your first stop! (or unline if that is more up your alley- at least order a catalog from them!)

Anyway got behind, ove the limit, now catching up, but being wiser.
I have been following the thread and been more studious of what i am doing. I do have my DUNS number, LLC with the EIN, $2000 from Staples, $250 from Office Depot, $300 from NEBS. Got turned down by shell, because they wanted a PG (forgot the reason). So now just trying to get things turned around.

So, go to the city and get a business license. You should already have one if you are doing business in the city or in an area that requires one.

LLC paper work is not a business license. you need a license for the county/town or city your business address is in. go down to court house and tell them you need a business license and they will tell you what office to go to and how many. renewed mine last week $45.00 30 min time. first time was about 2 hours and $55.00. and yes i an a llc.

Business license here is based on a your gross sales. Base rate is $50 bucks and only up from there. Most municipalities require a business license. Here, even the panhandlers are required to have a business license. Most of them don't..... Did the city really think they would go get one?

you NEVER have to enter your duns number on applications (well, there are a few exceptions). It is linked to your business, just like your credit report personally. Just enter your ein and when they report, it goes to that number.

Hi,
I just applied for a duns number this week, today a lady form d&b called me and is trying to sell me the credit builder from them, she says that if you don't use the credit builder that d&b puts a statement on the top of your duns credit report stating that all information is not verified or something in that matter.
My question is, is this true or should I just get the free number and not worry about the $299 credit builder that they offer.
All insight will be appreciated.

I know from all the replys to this post that you should never buy the credit builder from them.

Is there a certain time of having active accounts in good standing that will add to your credit score? The reason I ask is that I had a yellow page ad reporting for about five years before knowing anything about credit, then when this thread came about I was one of the first to do everything in it. My experian score has always been good, about 87-93 every week. In the last month it has stayed at 99. I havent done anything different, just wondering if there was some reason for the jump.

What I did when I got my first cards was use them every month, then pay them off. And dont try to get them all at once. Go slowly, I beleive lowes wants 6 months of reporting. Not sure on dell, I have that and no reason to use it as their products and service is crap.

CCR registration at www.ccr.gov (Click "Start New Registration") CAN BEGIN AFTER 24 HOURS. For US ** FEDERAL ** Government contractors, failure to register your DUNS Number in CCR within 30 days may cause D&B to deactivate your DUNS number.

If you have just started to build your business' credit then you will more than likely not be approved for most cards. I opened my first account 2 or 3 months ago. Now I have 2 revolving accounts and 2 net 30's. I just received a credit card from First Equity with a $1000 limit but the interest rate is really high (22%). Other than that I've filled out a bunch of credit card applications looking for one with 0% or low introductory interest but they have all said the same thing: You need more accounts or the accounts haven't been reporting for a long enough period.
Here's a site to compare cards.

grntmbfisher - Watch out for First Equity--they've raised my rate, 3 times since June. I signed up with a rate of 22%, and I'm now up to 26.xx%. It's crazy!

Read through this whole thread the past few days and learned alot lol.
I have since applied for my DnB# online and received that.
I waited the 24 hours as it says then went to CCR.Gov and signed up their.
After all that I went to this site as suggested http://smartbusinessreports.com/
They had no record of my business anywhere in the search thingy so I'm not sure whats up with that...anyhow I went to Staples and Office depot online and applied for both revolving business accounts.
Staples made me fax in a proof of address for the business and I havent heard back from them yet I am assuming it will go through since I got the approve code (26 I think it was?) but on Office Depots I got the 25 code which after calling meant that I needed to have a PG before they would approve me.
Does anyone know any others that are easy to get right away?
Also do i need to make purchases on the ones I do get to get my credit moving or does just having them on my report with 0 balances for a period of time enough?

Does anyone know if the CCR.gov registration is actually required? Will D&B actually deactivate my DUNS number?
Thanks!

They said that on mine also.
I went ahead and did it. Took me like 5 minutes to complete.
Its pretty straight foward just alot of repetative input. it will ask for contact names addresses and numbers like 20,000 times lol.
Also I was wondering how DnB connects you to your Tax ID number because it never asks for it anywhere...I wonder if they just look you up on some secretary of State database somewhere? I hope not because my business name isnt listed Exactly like how I registered it as an LLC.
Anyone think that will cause a problem?
my business names is listed as: lawnbarbers property Services LLC
my EIN# shows: lawnBarbers LLC
both use same address

CORRECTION ON CODE 26
I posted on here a while ago about getting a CODE 26. This DOES NOT mean an approval, as I stated in an earlier post. I was just informed by an insider that a CODE 26 is an APPROVAL PENDING. Your chances of approval are good, pending the info they want to verify with you.
From what I was told a CODE 28 = APPROVED
Hope I didn't misinform anyone who read my previous post.

I got my dnb # and tin applyed for stapels and had to call them. They want a phone bill or some thig to verify my adress. Will they still aprove if the verified item is in my personal name?
code 26 (good)
I think if they only need to verify an address you'll get approved. Staples is pretty easy to get. Just make sure your company name reflects on what ever you send them.

SOS sends company info to D&B. If D&B reports it incorrect then just update it yourself. Either way I wouldn't worry to much about it.

I got mine as well...$750 Staples revolving.
I went out and bought meself 500 b/w flyers (1000 since i lade it out 2 per)
and 100 color flyers. I put it on the staples card for like $170 i think so ill be paying that off before the bill comes in to get my score going up :)
Not sure who ima apply for next though...I think ill call up uline and nebs next then let those ride for about 3 months and try Lesco. Then maybe in six months ill hit up Shell and Lowes or HD
@srqlawn
No they didnt ask me for one but they did want to see proof of my LLC. Staples is the easiest one to get all you need is your tax ID. I dont know if it matters or not having a DnB number because they never asked for it. It would still be good to have though because it is tied into your tax ID somehow that i cant really explain. It would also be good to have handy:
Proof of business address, proof of incorporation from your Sec of state, and get listed on 411 as stated farther back in this thread.

Nope, just my EIN#. I applied last night with an online application and it said to call because they needed to verify some info on the account. Called this morning, answered a few questions and the gentlemen tells me I have been approved for 3 grand. I was very, very easy.

I am sorry but this whole thread reeks of taking advantage of a system intended for large, publicly traded corporations. I don't think Dunn & Bradstreet was made for small, owner-operated affairs, but rather for corporations without an owner.
It makes perfect sense, why would any small owner-based operation need credit beyond personal, this stuff is for companies with boards and members, where no one person could possibly be able to guarantee payment. Because if your credit is shot, no matter what the reason, that it works I will not argue but once D & B finds out what you've been up to I just don't see the good news coming.

Because you can't grow to a larger company without being able to leverage credit in your favor. Once you get one or maybe two auto loans, a mortgage, and a few personal loans on your personal credit, you won't get much more with the current credit scoring system. You will be maxed out.
With the business credit, you are able to get the items you need to grow your business. Granted, there are those that will abuse the info used here, but a legitimate business will not.

Business credit is getting harder to obtain as the banks are tighting up on there guide lines. The main thing with business credit is it does not report to your personal credit unless you default even accounts that you personally guarntee will not report. If you have good credit (700 and above) you can get just about any business card out there. Dont use to much of your credit b.c the economy is getting tight so watch your back. If you want equipment and you have decent personal credit (650 and up) use sheffield but make sure you use there commerical app and the same with yard card so that it will not show up on personal credit.

I always get mail advertisements offering high credit lines to use for my business but usually you need to have collateral (home, etc) to get these loans.
Is there another way to get business 'line of credit' loans without collateral?
You can get LOC with no doc up to $50k if your scores are atleast 700 and you been in business for 2 years from most major banks.

I have been in business since 2000, but never had any business lines of credit. All of my credit to date has been through my personal credit, which is less than desirable as of late. I can understand your confusion about how easy it is to get the credit that is being described in this thread, but I did just as was written here. I applied online using my EIN#, not my S.S # and I WAS approved over the phone for a $3000 limit on a Staples Business card. I will be very surprised if you do not get approved also, I just think the phone call is a formality. I hope this shed some light on things. Good luck

Odd, I went to dnb's eupdate page to check my credit and it's blank. It wasn't last time I checked a couple months ago.
Any ideas why it may be doing that?
Also, my next question is what would be a good card to apply for next? I've had Staples and Office Depot for well over a year, always paid on time and never been over the limit. I'd like to apply for something else but no personal guarantees.

Well, I just wanted to update everyone as I applied at Staples on Saturday and received a CODE26, I called today and yes I did receive a $750.00 line of credit. I also just spoke to DnB and got my D-U-N-S number right over the phone with no hassles. I also applied at Office Depot and was approved with no personal guarantee, but got disconnected so do not know my credit line amount..
I will use these sparingly, pay them down when the bill comes in then continue to build.

If by tradelines you mean number of credit accounts in the business' name, two. Staples and Office Depot. D&B has my Paydex score at 75.
I applied for the HD private label revolving account, not the master card.

NOOB, again not to be an A**, but your trying to get ahead of yourself.. You need to contact DnB and inform them that you need a new D-U-N-S number to bid on federal contracts, they will then tell you that it is going to take 24-48 hours before you can register with CCR, tell them that is not a problem, but you need to get the number to be able to provide to the contracts you are trying to secure..
Now go READ this thread from page one and good luck...
