Oops. They were bought out by Milsco. www.milsco.com. They probably still have the plant in Jackson MI, though.

Item # 270028040668 is what you want, its the old style Michigan seat and is in Husky grey. You can buy the adaptor kit 7754068389 on ebay but it isn't much of a deal. You could get it at your Exmark dealer for about the same. Or for the best bargin go to Northern tool at link http://www.northerntool.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_6970_200268424_200268424 This is a new Michigan seat that you pay Exmark, Scag, Toro between $500 and $600 but it comes in black which I don't like but its' up to you.

It has a bolt pattern that fits my Exmark so it should also fit the Toro. I think its around 11"x11" pattern and you shouldn't have to do anything to make it fit a Exmark, Toro, Hustler, Scag etc that come with the Michigan seat as standard or as an add on. It has a saftey switch built in so you may have to splice a wire to get the safety shutoff to work. No big deal. Call Northern Customer support and they will tell you the exact bolt pattern. The bolt pattern should match. They will refund your money as they did mine if it doesn't work. The picture shows grey but they are black which I didn't want on the Exmark.

Toro makes a suspension insert that can be placed under your existing seat that is less than half the price of their existing seat. I have had one on my 62" Z master for almost 2 years now and I have really enjoyed it.

Black seat.... FORGET ABOUT IT! who wants to have their behind burned all summer getting up onto a mower with a black seat! not me!!!

Suspension seats are misleading. They have little to no padding in the seat itself. Just the suspension to make it a soft seat. I find that a good padded seat it more comfortable except on very bumpy grounds.

I am interested in seeing this Toro insert!

The toro insert is the same one that is sold for the Exmark mowers. It is spring loaded and fits under your existing seat. It has a tension adjustment to account for the different weight of operators. It works great to make the ride better. In addition, you still get the added benefit of the additional padding in the oem seat. The only thing that takes a little while to get used to is the higher seating position due to the addition of the insert. However, after a few hours you get used to it.

Can anyone post a link to a website where I can see one of these inserts and a price for one?

Call your local toro dealer and he will be able to look it up for you and give you a price. I would give you the model number and price but I do not have them with me right now.

I have both the insert on one mower and the full suspension seat. I prefer the full suspension seat. The insert puts you a couple of inches higher in the seat so you hit more limbs and unless your pretty tall it makes the floor pan further away for your feet to get a good firm rest. Both ride very well. The insert is a bit bouncy compared to the full suspension seat which has more of a dampened feel. This is just my opinion. The full suspenion seat if firmer but has more adjustments. Go to the dealer and try one of each out.

I finally got a chance to check with my Toro dealer on the avaliability of the suspension seat kit for the ZMaster and you can still get it. It retails this year for $220.38. I have the item number if anyone is interested. As I said before, it has worked out well for me, and it is a lot cheaper than a full blown suspension seat.

I just called the Toro company myself 1-800-348-2424 and they said if you will call with your mower model number and serial number that they will look up the part number for you. The number my dealer gave me was the number they use to list the part in their computer. Hope this helps.

Not a problem at all. I just called my dealer and he said the TORO PART NUMBER is 107-1892. Next I called Toro (spoke to Robert) and gave him this part number and he said it was a valid part number for the suspension seat kit and it was in stock. He said to make sure that your dealer was authorized to sell commercial zero turn riders and parts because if he wasn't then he would not be able to get the part. If your dealer cannot get it he suggested going online to find a dealer near you who can order it for you. Hope this helps. Let me know.

Is the suspension seat KIT just as good as the full suspension seat you buy for
$800? Im thinking about buying one off ebay model number 107-1892 for my Toro Z Master for $170. Its just a plate you bolt on the bottom of your existing seat. If anyone has any expierience with these please reply
