I do not think so, I have put grass down at this time in NY with great success. I am not sure how much cooler you are there. I usually mow weekly up to 1st week in Oct then it spreads out.

No, not at all. This is a great time for seeding.

Maybe mulch a little heavier and mix a little ann. and pern. rye if ussing fescue.

i have a economix available from Rhino for 50%sun %50shade which is what i need @$0.96/lb.

it is...
30% annual ryegrass
30% perennial ryegrass
30% cr.red fesque
10% KY. bluegrass 85/80
+new compost/fert/blanket

sound good?

Best time to seed IMO. But you better get a move-on...time's a ticking and that window will be closing soon. Good luck!
