Hydro Noise in Toro Z Master

I have been demoing a Toro Z master with 62 inch deck and 23 Kohler. Seems to be a considerable more whining or hydro noise as I call it from the toro than the dixie chopper I tried. Is this common with the Toro and Exmark. Does the dixie have a different hydro system?

Someone had just mentioned this not long ago about the amount of noise the Exmarks make compared to the Dixies.

It is normal for the toro's hydro to whin. The dixie chopper has a very different hydro system.:blob3:

My dealer sells Exmarks too, I noticed the whine they make at the open house this spring.

Yes the DC hydro's are different. They use a quad loop system which has been flawless for me in the past 4 Choppers.

They do make more noise. Especially at lower RPM's.
