Need Help mower not charging battery

I Need help I have a Great Dane With a 25 Hp Kohler and its not charging Battery I have put two new batterys in in a month, any ideas ?

Check your fuses my ferris had the same problem and the fuse was the problem

take a volt meter and with the engine running full throttle you should have 12.6 or better for charging. If not pull the connector off of the regulator set your meter on AC volts and test across the outer terminals in the plug end. Full throttle. If you don't have 28 volts or more the your stator is bad. If you do have 28 volts or better then your regulator is bad.

I forgot to tell you that it's 28 volt AC current. So set your meter to ac volts
