Well, yesterday while sitting in church I started having abdominal pain, after a few hours I pretty much figured I had Appendicitis. Went to the ER yesterday evening and had an appendectomy last night. Just got home tonight, will be out for 3 weeks for recovery. :(
My wife and son are going to be busy the next 2 weeks I guess. Boy this stinks! Maybe I can get cought up on my books now. :D

Sorry to hear this Ray. This isn't the best time of the year to pick to have this happen. :(
I just got an IM from Chad from Chadslawn and he said he is heading back to the hospital. He is having pains again in his side, just got out with pnemonia. Another bummer.

Best wishes and a speedy recovery Ray. At least the guys you work with didn't have to take you in. I always tell my wife to drag me to the line and call someone I don't know if I need the gut wagon.
Take care.

Wishing you a speedy recovery. Just think, now you'll have time to do a little puter work. Redesign your brochure,(which I copied and converted for my use), maybe even redesign your invoices or statements. And now you'll have the time to really get into digital photography and learn new tricks. I look forward to the many things I'm sure you'll be posting in the near future.

Hope you get well soon and have a speedy recovery. Just don't get cocky and over do it when you think you are better. Take it easy and relax, get caught up on your reading, and lawnsite.

Yikes! I'm starting to see a pattern of disability from my fellow LCOs. If I did a search for hospital I'm guessing I'd get a load of threads less than a month old on the topic!
Get well soon, Ray, and take it easy while ya can!

Thanks for all the kind words, and I do have a great family!
My wife & son took off tonight to mow a few lawns. At the end of the street she was turning right onto another street when a car came toward her while passing another lawn service that has parked on the side of the street. The enclosed trailer ran over the street sign & pulled the fender off the right side of my trailer. http://unionturf.com/boohoo.gif Looks like crap!
My son ran back home and said "mom hit the sign, you need to help me carry the part of the trailer back, I felt faint! Can't wait to see how much this cost!
Oh well, at least I have strong drugs for now.....http://unionturf.com/drool_2.gif

Need to get the wife some curb feelers, LOL. Curb Feeler Kirby is kinda catchy, maybe could be your handle when your on the CB. Anyways good luck on a quick recovery. Didn't you get sick or injured last fall? Seems like when the going gets tough you let the wife and son take over, good idea I'm taking notes. Of course I'm just kidding, not too easy to fake an appendacitis.
