View Full Version : New GMC K2500HD
I picked this up 2 weeks ago. Got it for $23,400 (w/0 tax or title) with an 8' Fisher plow and Rhino bed liner. Doesn't have all the bells & whistles. Does have snowplow prep. pkg, 4:10 gears, locking differential.
Haven't put it to work yet. Have to think about what kind of racks I want on it.

Quick questions: Its a 2006? Have any idea how the MPGs are?

Does that price include the Fisher and Rhino? Is it new or used?
Thanks for the comments. Truck is brand new. $23,400 was the total price including plow and liner.
I haven't gone through a tank of gas yet. I'll reply this afternoon after I fill it up.

Well here they sell them without plows for $22K so I think he got a steal. With a plow its like $25K

I was looking at basically the same truck only with a Duramax, brand new with MM2 and they wanted $32,450, so I think you did great.

I filled it up, and it got 11.22 mpg on the first tank. I sure hope that improves a little after it breaks in. Thats with the 6.0 engine with 4:10 gears.

You are right. I wish I didn't have to put it to work. It drives really nice, and it's clean . A whole lot better than my 1998 K2500 with 134,000 miles. I might finish the season out with the 98.
If anyone is interested, there is another one around here with almost the same options at the same price, except it's white.

Very nice. If I was getting a new GMC or Chevy, thats the color I'd want!

Nice truck! It should treat you well.
When I was looking at trucks (Looked at Dodge, Ford, GM- ended up with a Ford), but anyways, I noticed at the GMC lot that they have this new color that looks really nice. It is a lighter grayish-blue color with a hint of green. Forgot the name of the color, but it looks very sharp. For anyone looking at new GM's, check this color out.

That will be as good as you get. My uncle has a '06 crew cab shortbed 6.0 and only gets 11 to 12 on good days.
