belt is partily coming off

I have noticed the belt on my Super Mini Z 44 inch deck to be on the rim of the pulley wheel several times and have tightened the chain by one link once. The belt is fairly easy to push back into the groove. The tension chain has about three or four links left. Should I move it one more link? I only have about 12 hours on my new mower. Any ideas? It looks like the belt has worn a little bit on the side because of this.

With only 12 hours on the mower I would take it back to the dealer and show them what you are seeing.
If the belt is coming off the pulley or not running on it right you can damage the belt.
Belts do break in and stretch or seat into the pulley's, so adjusting the tension chain a few links is not uncommon.
