Watering Instructions

Does anyone have any good percise watering instructions for tall fescue?? Is there any special amount of watering time per zone for sprinkler systems??? Someone please Help!http://www.lawnsite.com/images/smilies/confused.gif

About an inch a week. This should be done in about 2 waterings is all. NOT 4 shallow waterings. Sometimes, it may only take around 1/2".

Roughly how long would that be?? Let's say it's a townhouse and they have a regular garden hose sprinkler. One in the front and one in the back. Would that be two waterings of an hour or two in a week?? Do you water heavier on the first week???? I can just see myself getting into it with a customer over that kinda crap. I want to be as clear as possible. appreciate the input

Once the TF is established 1in per week could be to much. TF really does best when it is allowed to dry out. I would suggest only irrigating when the grass shows stress.

Agree w/ Rusty2...TTTF does best if you irrigate only when it shows visual distress.
