Finally, I am 100% legal...feels good too. Went today and got insurance....paid up for the year. It took a while but I now have everything I need to be legit....a weight has been lifted off my shoulders. Everyone should be legal it feels a whole lot better.

My insurance guy hooked me up with American Vehicle Insurance (they insure more than vehicles). My neighbor is a construction contractor and this happens to be the same company he is insured with. He hasn't had any problems with them. So when my insurance guy told me the price per year, I told him to sign me up NOW.

Not a bad price at all. What does it cover?

Nothing beyond pruning...that I know of.....but I will find out if I feel the need to start doing any tree work...which I have considered.

Just residential....but I believe it could just as easily include commercial....something I should have asked and need to look into.
Limits of Liability include - Occurence, General Aggregate, Products / Completed Operations, Personal and Advertising Injury.
Double Aggregate: 300/600/600
100,000 fire damage limit
5000 medical payments
250 deductible
This is for Individual with no employees.
I think it's pretty decent insurance to get started with.

Is that just for liability? If so, I think that's high.
I have a 1 mil/2 mil policy with Farm Bureau for $204.
It covers my work, res or commercial. It also covers my pesticide usage as I defined it to them. No mass spraying, only weeds in beds, sidewalks etc...
Anyway, I'm glad you got some insurance. That doesn't make you legal though. Paying taxes makes you legal.
