I know Fall Clean Up is based on size and/or the number of hours it takes to complete the job as well as how many people you have helping you. I wanna see what you guys charge roughly for Hourly Rates doing Fall Clean Ups. Thanks for any and all advice.

On accounts that we maintain during the rest of the year, fall cleanup is minimal. I usually add about 25 percent to the mowing price to mulch up leaves and do a little bit of extra blowing. On jobs that are over burdened with leaves, sticks, and overgrown bushes, I charge no less than 40 per man hour.

most lots in my area are less than a 1/3 acre with houses on all 4 sides of them. it would take the homeowner almost a full day to rake and bag all the leaves then haul them to the transfer station. i can go in with my equipment and be done in less than 2 hrs. so most are more than happy to pay $100.00 to have this done. i made the mistake of quoting my hourly rate to one customer along with the total price (2 hrs at $50.00 hr) they lost it saying i was trying to rob them. they got a couple kids that call themselves a lco to do it for $15.00 an hr. the only problem is it took them 5 hrs each!! so it ended up costing them $150.00. they now don't complain about my labor rates. this customer is now one of my best customers.
the moral of this story is the labor rate dosen't tell the full story.

The poll is asking "How much do you charge per man hour" , correct?

IE...5 men working a fall clean-up for 5 hrs = 25 man hrs @ $40 = $1000.00

do I get the question correctly.

this is my first post on this forum.
thanks, I've already learn a ton.

Btw... I charge between $32 and $36 per man hour and $50 for me.

We charge $40 per man hour, Plus a fee to Dump the leaves. We use Backpack blowers and Z Turn Mowers to pick em all up. I take care of my regulars at a better rate. All depends how much other stuff is in the yard, branches and such.

We have 1x BR-600 & 1x BR-400 now. Oh the landscapers here charge about double my prices for 3 guys. For my regualars its $60hr everyone else $75hr. + I'm insured and the only thing I don't have that these LCOs do have is a truck and leaf vac. My prices are about 1/2 of a LCO around here.

I'm 17 and charge $50 an hr. at least, for 2 guys to do a leaf cleanup. We use 2 RedMax Backpacks, mowers, rakes and all the other stuff but no truck loader yet. If i have a large enough property that i need all the leaves hauled away than my buddy who has a loader on his International does it.

I think you guys are getting confused with per hour and per man hour. I don't think you actually charge $75 dollars per man hour, that would mean if you have two guys working they would be bringing in $150 per hour. Great but unlikely.

$75 x 2men x 1hr= $150

I think what your charging per man hour is more like 37.50 which is average around here.

$37.50 x 2men x 1hr= $75

We are a little high price wise we charge $49 per man hour however we use a truck loader, leaf plow, two 8000 red max blowers, and our walker to get the leaves done fast, I almost think we should charge more. Also we charge for time to dispose of the leaves, don't forget that.

$30 a man hour. To suck the leaves up, depending on the size of the yard, alot more.

I found $140 per hr, 1st two hrs. 90 hr after that. My crew during those 4 weeks is 5 men, 2 F350 1 ton Dumps, 1 with trailer and equipment, 1 with tow behind leafvac and box. Operation - mower with leaf plow (fantastic) two back blowers - 1 push blower - 1 man with rake (a little work is going to hurt anyone) and a whole lot of hustlin. this price included dumping charges if need be. if not needed its more money in your pocket.
