Help........... Have a Ferris z1000 (great unit), has the 21hp twin cylinder Kawasaki on it..........and just recently I'll be cranking along, engine sounds like its low on fuel, possibly a small backfire............ i switch off the blades and head to 1/2 throttle and its fine.
Very repeatable. The unit starts and idles fine.........its only when I start to get under load (even a little) and eventually it does the same.
I will say that when I look into the fuel filter there is minimal fuel in there, and I can test the external fuel pump with a vac pump, and that seems to work fine.
Anyone seen this before?
