Increased blade speed?

On what year did you increase the blade speed from 18,000fpm to 18,500 fpm? Do the 2000 models have this increase or just the 2001's? And how did you increase the blade speed anyway? Just curious....

Hello Vibe Ray,

Sorry you slipped through that first time. Ever since about the '91 model year our blade tip speeds have been between 18,000fpm and 18,500fpm. Blade tip speed is controlled by two things, rpm's of the spindle, and the length of the blade. The longer the blade the faster the blade tip speed for the same rpm's.
