How do you guys usually charge? What I mean is you have few people that want lawns cut weekly, BUT, 70% want it done bi-weekly. For an adverage size 3000 sf how would you charge? Charge 5 bucks more? I hate bi-weekly.

I refuse all biweekly accounts its full service or nothing

I dont know how it is there, but here when someone wants bi-weekly its just a bahia yard that is mostly weeds. Its good money and the lawns are thin and sparce. They are the easies to cut, and wont complain if its not perfect.

we have a lot of centipede here that can be mowed biweekly. we charge $5.00-$10.00 more per cut to offset the larger percentage of billing costs per cut.

The only yard I cut bi-weekly is a family from church with centipede. I do have a few "every ten day" accounts and they are either going weekly next season or going with someone else.:)
Are You Guys Making Soo Much Money That You Can Turn People Away. I Dont Care If They Want There Yard Cut Biweekly Its Still Green Money. That What You Are In Business For Right?

never would touch a 10 day account... too hard to schedule.
here the centipede is fine mowing every 2 weeks, and the extra charge we add on makes them very lucrative.

I dont have time for 10 day or 2 weekers. Just like yard pro said, the scheduling is a nightmare after a while. Different areas of town are done on different days. !0 day lawns dont work at all because they fall on different days each week. The every others are so numerous, they make it difficult to schedule help.

I am not in the position yet to turn down buisiness but the every 2 weeks is for the craps. I dont know why people just cut every week it looks much better. I do have some people when I tell them its 5 bucks more for every 2 weeks they stay weekly

Just all the south east coast, keep your prices high. My min. price is 35 no matter how small. Stck together.

I agree, every other week is a pain. Those people that want there yard mowed every other week are just trying to keep there neighbors from complaining. I don't know about you guys but I want my customers to take pride in a good looking yard. And a good looking yard needs to be mowed at least once a week.
