starting pay in florida

Whats a good starting pay for someone with no experince for Lawn Maint.? Just asking because I have an employee who I started out paying $8/hr and he is wanting to be paid more. Is $8/hr low for florida.

They all want to be paid more. I would say if he has prior experience, or shows the responsibility and work ethic and your budget #'s support it, raise his pay.

in ca. that wage is fine to start out . I start me guys between 8-10 dollars per hour .also MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVERS LICENSE
