I have a yard that has this fungus in the yard and the flowerbed. can anyone tell me what it is and how to treat it?

looks like mulch rot (happens to most deep mulch), but i'm not really a fungus expert.

Could be "dog vomit" fungus. Common in mulch in hot wet weather. Actually a type of slime mold. Turn the mulch over with a spade. No chemical is recognized as effective--but you can try, if you think the label allows. Let us know if anybody has a successful product--or what your own results are.
