They contacted you? I would see what kind of a deal they are going to give you. The are not a bad franchise system, but the name may not help in your area if you have never heard of them.

If you are a licensed operater why take on a francise.

Stumper,
Acutally they are a fairly large company from Canada. Eh? Expanding into the states. Hank DEvries in Hudsonville operates his area and West part of Grand Rapids. He has owned Weedman franchise about 5 years.

They claim to have limited markets and I'm in an open area. I will have to get with the guy in Hudsonville and research them a little.
Interesting stuff here.
They say you have to go to somewhere in Canada for company training.
thanks guys, I'll learn what I can and think about it.

Hank Devries, Don't he have something to do with Michigan turf and ornamental?
That name really rings bells, I don't know from where.

I think they (weedman) is making an effort to grow in the north east region. There is a company right near us who just went with them. So far, I sure dont see anything impressive or any exposure. There is no way I'm going to fork out x amount of my income in franchise fees.

Possibly trying to get their foot into the neighborhood by having me pay to turn over my clients.
thats what I'm thinking since they have no presence around here.
