What is this?

I have a lawn that in some areas has white on the grass leaves. It looks like you know when you wash out a paint brush that had white paint in it and you shake it out in the grass, the grass gets some white paint on it. It looks just like that. What is this and how do I get rid of it?:confused:

I believe someone just posted a question and they said it was powdery mildew.
