Since we (DFW metroplex) have started running into the cool over night lows, a lot of the st augustine lawns have started getting what I believe is fungus.

The leaf blades are turning bright yellow and the turf is thinning.

Anyone else in the DFW area seeing this on their st aug lawns? What are you doing about it, if anything?

Thanks,

from garland to denton and in between im seeing lots of new chinch bug damage, grey leaf spot in lots of places and even one case of S.A.D. that got really bad.

bifenthrin for the chinch bugs, banner max for the leaf spot, and some liquid nitrogen and iron fert to (albeit temporary) green up the st aug with S.A.D.

still seeing active grubs a lot too, dylox of course.
