I have a 21" Snapper self-propelled mower that's not turning enough rpm's at full throttle - spec from Snapper is 3350, I'm guessing it's less than 3k but I will have a tach to check it with by tomorrow.

It's a Briggs & Stratton Intek OHV 7hp
numbers on motor are 128602 0149 E1 041001 FA

Can anyone help me with the adjustment procedure to change maximum rpm's?

Thanks!

Pull back on the lever that the spring is attached to. Looks like an eyelet at the front of the engine on the assembly that moves when you move the throttle. Pull out to increase, push back in to decrease. I'd post a pic but since Briggs has the PDFs protected, it's a little more involving than i want to get to right now.
