reapiaring damage from road salt?

I have a few customers that have dead patches of lawn along the road from road salt during the winter. I know its late in the season. Should it be reapired now or wait till next spring? Either way how do I fix it? Will reseeding it work or will the salt kill it or prevent it from growing?

IMO I would wait till next Spring...there will be that much more to do anyway from this upcoming winter's salt as well.

apply some gypsum to these areas. It will help chemically react to the salt damage. I would apply some now and then till some more in, in the spring and seed then.
