Stump Gringing

I have a maintenance customer that needs some stump grinding done. I would like to know the methods of pricing this out. (by the stump, by the inch, etc.). there are a total of 5 stumps, and 156 inch's of stump.

Just get a subcontractor in there tell him to give you a price and add a few $$$$$ to do nothing.

it is usually priced by the inch or by the hour. Impossible to tell what your area would be for pricing. around here it is low, I'm told that less than 150 miles to the east of me the rates are 2+ times what they are around me.

try to get a bunch in one day we do it about once or twice a year and we have a day coming up but just thinking about it id go about $500 (more or less on the amount of time itll take you) the stump wont cost about anythign to rent for the day
