What type of air hoses is everyone using?

Does anyone use recoil hoses and do you like them?
What hose material do you think kinks the least?

I have been using the hose that came with my porter cable compressor for a long time but it kinks and is very unflexable.

Right now I am leaning towards a pliable rubber hose or a recoil hose.

Good recoil hoses work well but the cheap ones tend to snap after a few months.

you might try a hose reel or split the hose and put a swivel in the help with the kinks.

Larger hoses tend to have less flex to them so I usually use 3/4 for long runs and a short 6 to 8 foot section of 1/2 or 3/8 at the tool end to make things a lot easier. The smaller hose carries a lower volume and may cause a pressure drop in use.
