Why didn't Hustler use a Kubota diesel engine? Also will this yanmar diesel just be avaliable in the Hustler Z not in the Super? Will the Flex seat fit on the 2006 model Super Z's?

Many farmers in the midwest find this to be superior when trimming around fence posts and along out buildings near animals.

Many of my customers this past year for Rear Discharge were:
School districts who wish to mow without thrown objects when children are around.
Cemetaries--because you can trim easily on both sides. Trimming on both sides also was a key when we sold mowers to a few Orchards-many of these guys mow maybe once a month.

Also, Golf courses have liked this model because your they can mow anywhere and not throw grass on or near greens or fairways.
We sold a few to driving ranges becase they were concerned with picking up range balls and throwing them towards customers.

The more I demo this mower the more customers seem to pop up.

This is another Hustler "Difference" in the OPE Industry.

Kubota doesn't make a vertical shaft diesel that I am aware of.
It will only be available in the Hustler Z.
When the Flex seat comes out I believe it will fit all previous models of the models they are made for.

can anyone post pictures of a rear discharge deck? local dealers don't have any and none are on Hustler's web site.
I'm considering a rear discharge for the safety aspect. Kids, etc.
trim both sides is also a good thing.
What are the negatives of a rear discharge?

Only negative is that it will leave long clippings or may clump if the grass is to long or wet, if you stay on a normal cutting schedule and watch how wet it gets, you will be fine.

I'm a little confused ... what's the difference between a suspension seat and a flex seat?

I'm a little confused ... what's the difference between a suspension seat and a flex seat?

The Flex Seat is actually a suspension platform (seat pan) for the seat to bolt to, it works best with a suspension seat.
