Hey all!
I have an older Honda Engine (1996) and the recoil was sluggish. Turns out there was dirt that mixed with the grease in the spring and caused it to recoil slowly. I wanted to fix this problem before fall came, but unfortunatally i created an additional problem for myself! I managed to put the spring back in it's place, however how do the spring and shield get back together? I'm stumped! Has anyone done this before that can lend a hand?
Here's a pic on the spring: http://www.daindustries.com/Merchant2/images/HondaRecoilSpringNEW.jpg and the recoil cover: http://www.psep.biz/images/Small%20Engine/honda/s150703.jpg
(Just to give a visual example)
Thanks!
