Can anyone refer me to educational websites where I can learn to identify various species of turfgrass, plants and trees?
Thank you.

Sam, I think that may be too big a bite for one time. Try picking one of those and then doing that, perhaps the lawn grasses, versus the ornamental grasses.
Trees: you have hard and softwoods and I don't know how many different varieties that break down even further.
Plants: uhhhh ..... try going to a nursery and saying that you want to learn about 'plants' and they'll just stare at you. Lotsa lotsa different plant types.
Good luck.

i would say for you to get some field guide things. there are books that you can take out into the field with you, and it will say do you have this kind of leaf, twig, bark, etc. and you key the plants out. after a while you start to learn them after repition.
