View Full Version : unwanted Bermuda in Meyer Zoysia lawn

I have a Meyer Zoysia lawn and in the area where I have full sun, I have noticed common bermuda grass beginning to take over. Is there some chemical that kills the bermuda (without killing the zoysia)? If not, any options other than spraying round-up and re-sodding the zoysia?

Once read that Fusilade would suppress bermuda in Zoysia but not sure if it would kill it. This is a big problem. If areas are small maybe best to kil and re sod.

It will be just about impossible to get it out. But, zoysia will choke bermuda out. Bermuda also can't handle shade. Keep the grass well feed and water and raise the mower blades up. You will accomplish all the things at once. :blob3:
