if you are trading your life for money-then you have no life and no time to enjoy spending it!

Family first. If I can include my family while I work, that's a bonus.;)

my family spends my work $$$. I miss my little girl in the summer, and get irritated by her in the winter. go figure. Nobody on thier deathbed wishes they'd worked more. Dave g

Family of course! :blob3:
A lot of people have put work first and now that is all they have :(
I work my a-- of all week and don't mess around so I can be with my girls on the weekends. Stop and think, your family is the biggest reason we work.

lj, i have no life, i traded my family for work.
no time to go out cause of work, no time to spend all the money i rake in, no time to enjoy myself but for a hour or two a day.

I can always make more money but I can never make more time. Once kids are grown up you can never get those yeas back. I've given up money to spend more time with the kids, and I'm happy with my decision.

but is it worth it?? this is why i got out of truckin'--no life!'cept in the cab of my rig! = no fun, waaay too much stress, high overhead, and too much paperwork keeping up with regulations and double fuel taxes.so i got into the mowing thing--more time for myself and less stress.

Work to Live...not Live to Work!
I seldom work weekends so that I can spend it with my family. Last Sunday, my wife and my two girls went and helped me with an install of flowers and mulch. It is great when you can get your whole family involved in your business. Sure, I could work more in the Summertime and spend time with them in the Winter. But, being a good husband and father is a full time position...not seasonal. So, I try to do things with my family as often as possible even if I have to turn some work down. I do not turn work down very often, just schedule it on another day. Your family is a blessing from God and should be appreciated or he just might take them away.
