My 20hp walker ghs is not vacuming up the leaves like it usually does. New blower housing, all new belts, clean screen. Any ideas, like worn down blades, They are about an inch and a half thick. All else is runing good. Thanks

First make sure you do not have a "rat's nest" in the chute or blower. Then make sure the blower is in fact turning. You say you put on new belts well make sure they are not slipping. Did you put the set screws and key way back in the blower when you transfered the pulley from the old blower box to the new one? Make sure the tension spring on the belt for the blower is OK because they can come off or break. Make sure the ilder arm for the blower box belt is not stuck or the belt will slip. Check the catch screen. Run the mower with the catcher door up just to see if it is picking up any thing. If the leaves are wet you may have to change deck height to get a better air flow. Make sure the left is on the left and the right blade is on the right. They will not cut or pick up any thing if they are switched. Good luck

hello, funny u should say that ,currently the micro v belt does not appear to be tensioned enough 4 the blower[ sticking tensioner arm, not smooth ] Was not like this after i did the conversion to micro v belt. In comparison the original v belt system could stall the motor . thanks tomo:waving:
