Who has heard of fluffing pine needles? I sort of understand the reasoning of it. Had a customer the other day that wanted me to fluff the needles before I put new ones down. And only put new ones down sparingly. The guy that did hers before did it like that and she liked it. I tried to explain that it wouldn't't't last (the look that is) without putting down fresh needles thick. Hers is really old. Well I did what she wanted and charged accordingly for my time spent fluffing. I could kill the guy that started that with her./ He also put down the landscape fabric without anchoring it. So as I used a rake to fluff, the fabric kept getting caught and pulled up. What a jack leg.
