How low do you go for the winter?

At what length do you cut the lawn on the final cut? I have a customer who had sod installed 3 months ago and he likes it high, can I leave it high for the winter? I am in Northern NJ.

All our last cuts are at 2 1/2...new sod, new seeded, existing, etc.

3" is the lowest we go. I don't have RF's vast amounts of $$ to keep buying new sets of blades :laugh: :laugh: :laugh: :laugh: We are still a struggling business
