I agree its a waste however my old boss who does ductcleaning used it as his ONLY advertising method. He had 15 duct cleaning trucks.

. I find in Ontario, the mail (Canada post) is the best because people read the things that come with their mail thinking its something important (of course my flyer is important lol).

Not for LCO, but for In-Home (Estate) Family portraits, Targeted to the upscale regions and did not get a single call.

I used them, Spent 3K, it paid for itself with spring clean up profits in the first 4 weeks. Picked up a few weeklies as well. Having said that, it was not my most sucessfull method for weekly mowings. I did much better handing out fliers and word of mouth. I also picked up 4 customers from my truck magnets and about 3 from my web site. Cost for signs, $300 for six, web site runs about $20/month.

I am not sure I would do it again. In your market it may or may not be sucessfull. You would need to talk with someone locally that uses them.
