Difference in oil filters

Should I keep using Kawasaki oil filters on my 13hp Kawasaki (twin cyl Kai) or are there other good but less expensive filters (such as Wix) that would be fine to use?

Check out this thread from a few months ago. I basically tried the cross-referenced Fram and will not do it again. :)
