You said 120 man hours per week???? That alone is 6000.00 per week at 50.00 per man hour. that would come to 252,000.00 per year for 42 weeks of service. With that you will be full time on that property alone. I bid one this year for 31,000.00 per year and I did not get it. it was mowing trimming blowing, weeding flower beds, trimming shrubs 3 times per year, gutters 3 times per year and mulching once in the spring. I know that number seems high but you better think about the 120 hours per week thing. That is 3 guys with 40 hours a week just on this property. Or 12 guys putting in a 10 hour day. OMG!!!!!

120 hours, are u shure? Sounds like a lot to me, how big is this place. That many hours has to be like 300+ acres. I cant imagine it being that large, but then Ive been wrong before - well once :weightlifter:

That would be around $16,800-$17,500 monthly fore me

Hours are Hours ... if you figure it'll take your business too perform in 120 .... than it's bid at 120
We have HOA n Condo's around here that the hedging alone can eat up 150-200 man hours per month
Weeding can be another 100 per month

They are telling you right in the dry part of the season and fall and early spring grass cuts fast might knock your time down but you are talking about a lot of hours don't sell yourself short.

thanks guys for all the help the property is huge 3,000 homes three large parks and lots of little islands. I would say turf area is 30-40 acres of tight mowing and trimming Tree rings and all the good stuff. Trugreen is in charge now and been there five years and doing a s@ity job. ive come up with 190,000 a year and I know trugreens doing it at maybe half that but you get what you pay for. thanks!

Based on our experience with TG in our area it would be around $126K.....be very careful in bidding against them to be sure what is included in contract. Things like flowers and mulch are definitely not included in our area. Neither is tree trimming, pest control, diseases and no irrigation repair.
