Looks like I found something to do this winter. I've decided to build the backhoe attach. for my Bobcat. Proably try some other projects too. This could be fun!!

Actually, anytime I work from a drawing it feels strange. Most of the time, I find myself on jobs where things have to be figured out "as you go", both in repair welding and building things like conveyor legs/guards/hoppers etc from scratch. I always have pad & pen handy to make sketches as required, but usually the official "blueprint" is in my head..................

Has anyone seen a set of the cadplans drawings? On occasion, I've made some CAD drawings for use at my work and I find after a day of doing that sort of "brain work" and trying to make sure enough information is presented (in legible fashion) for someone to build a project to be I'm just as tired as if I'd put in 10 hours out at the pit! Making a drawing 'ain't as easy as it looks!
