Those three axle trailers are made for towing by a tandem axle dump or other class 8 truck. In my truck driving days I used to haul a 200 size excavator (about 46,000 lbs.) on one.

I wouldn't tow that with anything less than a tandem axle. some need you to have air brakes on the truck because the trailer has air brakes.

Those trailers weigh around 10,000 empty. You'll need a tandem and most important of all............. an AIR BRAKE hook up because that trailer has air brakes.

I think you guys are all joking, but if not - PLEASE stay out of Northern California; my family travels on these roads and if you were to harm them because you were that stupid, I am not sure what I might do to you.:hammerhead:

Class 8 tandem axle dump, nothing less.

Will a PSD tow it? Sure. Will it tow it safely, stop it safely....no way.

Sucker is rated at just under 50000lbs loaded, that is going to take a big ass truck.

i agree with mr. vern, do not try and pull that trailer near me with your psd and your duramax's. that trailer weighs 18,000 lbs. you guys think too highly of your pick ups. that kenworth is more like it.

I'm sure these guys with the pickups are just joking- none of those trucks would even so much as budge the trailer even empty. You've got to put air to those trailers to unlock the brakes. I found out the hard way though that a Kenworth will pull one with the brakes locked. When I was a newbie truck driver when I took off pulling a 3 axle without releasing the trailer brakes. I had grabbed 3 gears before I noticed the cloud of tire smoke in the mirror.:hammerhead:

Im pretty sure my mothers Volvo could tow it no problem.

But seriously a Kenny, Peter, Mack or something should pull that son of a gun.

A tandem axle dump or anything bigger then that. Around here though you won't see anything bigger then a tandem axle with a lift axle because with a tri-axle the turning radius is horrible and it won't work for us out here.

That kenworth dump fearthisdeere put up is DiPaolo trucking out of Sparta, NJ-my hometown. I've seen him here quite a bit and that pic doesnt do that truck justice! Sweet Ride. Not sure how he keeps it so darn clean!

That trailer needs a tandem axle truck of some kind. Yes, could the mighty Duramax, Cummins, or Powerstroke pull it, but it says right on the Big-Tex webpage that it has semi-truck style electric connectors and air brakes....Find a big truck, then buy it! :usflag:
