Shrubs to plant this time of year?

Hey fellas...i just got off the phone with a new customer that is selling her home and the yard needs some attention...she said that a car ran into her yard and destroyed a couple of shrubs/bushes and wants to replace them as part of this bid...I am meeting her this Saturday and would like to know if there are any shrubs/bushes that I would be able to plant at this time of year...I want to say I'm in Zone 5 (Kansas City)...not sure though...

I'm not really comfortable planting this time of year but thought I would ask anyway...thanks

I emailed the bid and called her today...no response...maybe too much for her...

I'm used to planting in the spring or September...just didn't know what shrubs would be good to plant this late and would hold up over the winter...thanks though...

How can you plant this time of year everyday? ;)

You can plant dormant deciduous plants anytime the ground is not frozen.
