Just bought a house with about 1.5 acr. Am looking at a Husqvarna w/20hp Courage Kohler engine. I have read on here that the Courage engine is not as good as their other products and I know Huskys are made in the same factory as Craftsman....that being said do you recomend I move on to something else? I want to spend 1600 or less. I am looking at the YTH20FA2T on clearance at a Lowes for about 1500.

cruiser, my best friend just bought a huskee 42inch ztr and it is a hoss daddy of a mower. i think he paid 2500 though

I bought a Husky ZTR from lowes ($2500) and returned it after mowing my 1.5 acre property once.

I am sure glad they took it back.

Man 2500 is a lot for an MTD made mower.....

MTD makes the commercial mower for Cub Cadet called the "TANK". They (MTD) also make some commercial mowers for Lesco.

If you have a tank, please lift the foot panel and post the model numbers here that you find on the tag in the upper left portion of the frame.

Or state your manufacturer dealer warranty number.

Cruiser, I don't think you'll find a lot of praise for 'box store' mowers here. I would suggest you consider buying a used commercial mower for about the same, or slightly more, money.
