Not much to see in that pic.

All I see is lawn and the back of a lab.

Maybe zoom in on the wall a bit? More wall and less lawn, as well as less garage or house or whatever it is!

Is that a barn, a garage, a house, what in the fock is that anyway. Your workmanship looks good, however those blocks are as ugly as the building. Keep up the good work!

Am I the only one seeng the joints? Do we need to sit down in class and go over proper joint placement? :hammerhead:

When I went to school, it was outside the class that we learned about proper joint placement. I agree Paul. Looks like they aren't staggered properly to me either.:cool2:

Not Half Bond...

I realize you loose your lines symmetric on turns. But you could of cut a block here and there to regain the look.

If there is 1/4 block bond, then it should be fine structurally. You end up with the same bond when you build a versa-lok outside corner.

Aesthetically, well, it's consistent, which is acceptable.

I usually stack from the middle of the turn, but I've done it both ways. I've only made cuts on really long turns where the 1/4 block bond would be in jeopardy.

it doesn't even look like 1/4 bond to me.

Only masons worry about half bonds. Usually SRW require minimun of 3" bond. Does look a little slim there.
